Hi, I'm Liz, the designer behind Mindful Design by Liz, a boutique branding and Showit website design studio based in Massachusetts. I partner with hospitality and service-based businesses to create strategic brands and thoughtfully designed websites that reflect the experience they provide. The Nantucket Dog Nanny is a premium pet care brand created to reflect the warmth, trust, and reliability at the heart of personalized dog care. Inspired by Nantucket's coastal charm and laid-back lifestyle, the visual identity balances professionalism with approachability, helping pet owners feel confident leaving their dogs in trusted hands. Elevated Cleaning
Elevated Cleaning came to me as a new commercial cleaning company looking to establish a professional and trustworthy presence from the ground up. The project included brand development, logo refinement, and a custom website designed to position the company as a reliable partner for businesses throughout Boston and the South Shore. Below is the branding that was used.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My business went from side hustle to legit and trustworthy as soon as we launched. A modern-vintage coastal boutique brand featuring custom logo design, color palette development, typography selection, and curated visual direction. Mockups and presentation imagery were created for portfolio presentation purposes.

The branding process focused on developing a cohesive identity system that felt both elevated and welcoming. A custom logo featuring a minimal line-art dog illustration paired with subtle coastal wave elements creates a distinctive visual mark that connects the business to its island roots. The color palette combines deep coastal greens, muted teals, warm neutrals, and rust accents to evoke feelings of trust, comfort, and connection, while Libre Baskerville and DM Sans provide a timeless yet modern typographic foundation. The final identity extends beyond the logo to include a complete visual system with supporting brand elements, patterns, and branded collateral. Together, these elements create a memorable and professional presence that positions The Nantucket Dog Nanny as a trusted, caring, and dependable pet care provider within the Nantucket community.
